Stauntonia Hexaphylla

An unusual evergreen climber with large divided waxy leaves. It is self-clinging with twining tendrils. In spring it bears white flowers tinged with violet in small bells which are fragrant. A Japanese native which is related to the Akebia. Best in well drained soil in full sun/part shade & a sheltered location.

Tips: grow in a cool greenhouse in cold locations.
